I am currently sitting in the grinder with my friend Jana and we are more than satisfied with the service, the food and the atmosphere. Good vibes. The current situation regarding Corona is optimally mastered. The only thing that occurs to us about the reviews is: The sound makes the music.

It used to be a very nice restaurant and friendly staff. Currently a VERY, VERY unfriendly main service. Relatively small woman who absolutely missed her job. Do not ask if you want to order more, the whole time walking around with a "7-day rainy weather expression" on your face. Absolutely unfriendly. We'll be back ONLY because of the good breakfast and the apparently very capable kitchen (if at all). Dogs are no longer allowed either, for whatever reason. Absolutely unfashionable and old-fashioned. In the Bijou just around the corner, absolutely friendly service and a great breakfast buffet with very, very attentive service. Even the dog gets something to drink there. You should actually avoid the Café Mahlwerk if you don't want to get in a bad mood early in the morning because of the unfriendly service! Sorry! You were definitely better in the past! We no longer "support" you in difficult Corona times! If you can afford such bad service, please without us! 2 stars ONLY for the kitchen staff!

Preferably -5 stars. The service was worse than ever. The young lady who served us was rude, inattentive and ignorant. None of our requests was followed. It was said that the tables were all occupied, but when you look inside, there were still many free tables. We just wanted to have a quick meal and go. That might have taken no more than half an hour. However, we were not even offered to eat or go out for a short time, although the tables in the interior were free. Instead, we were exposed to the outside world. At the table after breakfast had arrived, countless bees buzzed around us, so that an enjoyable meal or breakfast or entertainment at all was impossible. So we kindly asked the waitress to do something. Unfortunately, we were stubbornly turned away and didn't eat a bite and had to pay the full amount. If you offer breakfast outside and you know you are plagued by bees then you must not offer this to your guests. You pay money for nothing and you also lose time. That is impossible and you will definitely lose a lot of guests. That was the first and last time that we visited her and ours. We won't be able to recommend this café to friends that we actually wanted to invite to their coffee. It's sad we are angry and go home hungry with lost money. That is the very last. They didn't offer anything to meet us.

Great cafe, we were there several times now for breakfast on the weekend. Nice service, delicious food and reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

We were lucky enough to get the “box seat” at the window, from here you can watch the hustle and bustle of the pedestrian zone. A very friendly young waitress brought us the menu immediately and served us attentively and very well throughout the visit. The pieces of cake we chose tasted really good and the coffee with a lot of crema was also worth the price. Yes, we would love to come back.

On Saturday noon I entered the cafe with my dog, 40cm, old and calm. The requirements for the dog's whereabouts were very strict. Things were said to me three times, I was no longer able to do it. I strongly recommend that you put the sign "Please no dogs" on the door that would be helpful. I will not come again.

Good, delicious, great cakes! Coffee is served differently than in Croatia. The staff is friendly but not very fast 🙂

The food was really delicious, and well prepared. It not only tasted good but it looked delicious.

There is good coffee, cocoa and tea here (I've tried that so far). The atmosphere is nice too, but it can get a bit crowded around lunchtime and you may have to wait a bit for an empty table. Otherwise everything was great, the staff is also very friendly and the price is very good (not too expensive but not too cheap).

Were here for breakfast (which you can do here until 6pm). Each component is selected individually on a sheet on which you tick what you want to eat. The choice is great. From normal rolls to black bread, various jams to Bircher muesli and fruit platter. The taste was very tasty and was also nicely presented. Only the prices I find a little exaggerated. I would deduct half a star for that
